Success Story- Kenneth Sydenstricker

atrium1

Why Atrium Health Care should be your #1 Choice of Care!

Atrium Health Care & Rehabilitation Center of Cahokia would like to congratulate Kenneth Sydenstricker on his successful return home.  Kenneth came to Atrium after a hospitalization at Touchette Regional Hospital and needed Therapy and nursing care to get him on the road to recovery.

He was immediately admitted in Atrium Health Care’s “Destination Home” therapy program working on gait training, balance, transfers, strengthening, and activities of daily living.  Kenneth  came to Atrium with decreased ability to ambulate and transfer himself.    In the “Destination Home” program he progressed rapidly and with his Medicare days he reached his goals. Working very hard with his Physical & Occupational Therapists daily, Kenneth successfully discharged back home to his previous level.

Congratulations to Kenneth on his successful return home from all the staff and residents at Atrium Health Care.  We are happy you are back home and doing great!  If you or someone you know could benefit from our Destination Home skilled services at Atrium, please contact Susie Wilson at (618) 337-9400 for your personal tour.
