The Millstadt Consolidated School held a car wash at Mertz Ford of Millstadt parking lot. The fundraiser is one of many to raise funds for the 8th grade class trip to Washington DC & New York in late April of 2010. Other fundraisers will be October 4th with a BBQ at the Millstadt IGA, selling TJ Pizzas in November, along with a few others.
The class had a blast washing the vehicles and I believe from what I saw there was just as much water on the students as there was on the cars, and by the way they did a great job cleaning the cars and trucks. Mertz Ford of Millstadt generously let MCS use their parking lot to wash cars, along with donating hot dogs and soda for the class to sell to raise extra funds. In case you didn’t know it already, Mertz Ford is very community oriented, helping out whenever they can to better their community.
The students of MCS that participated in the car wash thanks Mertz Ford as well as those who stopped by to have their vehicles washed, buying a hot dog and soda, it was greatly appreciated.
