For this first movie review I would like to recommend the movie “FIREPROOF”. It is no
longer showing at the theater’s, but is readily available at movie rental houses, REDBOX
vending machines, or on sale at Christian book stores and Walmart.
What an awesome movie that deals with the relationship of marriage. Regardless if you
are struggling in your marriage or your relationship is great, you NEED to see this movie.
It will have a profound effect on your relationship no matter what. In some parts of the
movie you will be on the edge of your seat, other times you will be laughing your head off,
and still another time fighting back the tears. Kirk Cameron & Erin Bethea put on a
performance of a lifetime, deserving of Hollywood’s top award, however, that will never
happen. Why do I say that? Well you see FIREPROOF is the third feature film from
Sherwood Pictures” the creators of FACING THE GIANTS and FLYWHEEL. With hope-filled, heartfelt storytelling, the moviemaking ministry of Sherwood Baptist Church is "reaching the world from Albany, Georgia” a claim that sounds glib only until you know that this church three hours south of Atlanta surprised Hollywood and circled the globe with the movie FACING THE GIANTS.
As with the church's first two films, the production is driven by volunteers (one pro-
fessional film crew of eight men works at a discounted rate) church members act, cater, baby sit, answer phones, pray, handle wardrobe, make-up, set design, and support
sound, lights, and every area of filmmaking. So now you understand why Hollywood
would never recognize their performance. But don’t be surprised in that this movie is of
top notch quality, just as good, if not better than any movie produced in Hollywood.
You will not be disappointed in viewing this movie. So take my advise, rent or buy this
movie tonight and be touched forever.
Click on the “FIREPROOF” banner above and you will be directed to the website that
has a “movie trailer” of the movie, along with a plethora of information to consume.
Happy watching
