On Friday, November 13th the St. James School reached out to the community with a project to help rake leaves, clean windows, wash cars, and the like for those incapable of doing it for themselves, or at least difficult for them.
Prior to going out to the community they held an assembly to organize and then to pray blessing upon each other for safety. After the assembly, forces of young people with their adult chaperones went into action to making a difference in which the community they live. Several headed some yards to rake leaves to the curb for the Village to pick-up. Other’s washed windows while still others washed cars, along with several working at the church in a cleaning effort.
Hats off to school officials, staff, parent helpers, and especially the students for making a difference in the community of Millstadt.
